INSPIRED

Here is my first attempt at being inspired to make a card after viewing a photo. I loved the colors in the Clinique bag (and need to use my retiring colors). It's not my favorite card but the colors match!

Swap - Black and White with a Splash Card #2

I cased this card idea from Karen Olson Jurisch on Stampin' Connection. The splash on this card is of course the red ribbon and the heart brad. So cute!

Swap - Black and White with a Splash

Another swap I'm participating in. . .Black and White Card with a splash. I CASEd this card idea from Julie Ramos on Stampin' Connection. She used a lot more pink which made her card so beautiful. The swap rules state the splash of color can only be in a button, ribbon, etc. So of course in this card my splash is the Pretty in Pink Ribbon.

Summer Mini Card Swap

This is the card I made for a swap I'm doing. The guidelines are to use products from the new Summer Mini available on May 1st. Recipe:  Stamp Set: Sentimental Journey; Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Kraft (soon to be called Crumb Cake), Travel Journal DSP;

Do you like banana splits?

I CASED these cards from LeeAnn Greff. I saw her creation on Stampin Connection. The sentiment is from the Crazy for Cupcakes set. The yummy banana split was made totally using punches.

Bowl - 1-3/4" circle

Banana - large oval

Ice Cream - 3/4" circle

Toppings - Scallop Border Punch, then 3/4" circle

Cherry - Crop a dial

Stem - hand cut

I used the cherry print from our Rockabilly Designer Series Paper. Paper for bowl is also from that series. The ribbon is leftover from the Christmas Mini Catalog. It's called Sleigh Bells. Making banana splits in the craftroom is ZERO calories. Enjoy!

Guest Stamper Meghan - My Contribution to the day

I saw a great Father's Day card on Stampin Connection which we CASEd.  Sorry I don't remember the name of the original artist. Doesn't the pegboard look realistic? I just loved this. The stamp set is called Tool Time. Don't peek Dad!

Don't you love the patterned paper she brought?  We used some of my Sweet Pea felt pieces, a Kiwi Kiss corduroy button, and a Playground button. Hopefully mom won't peek! Thanks Meghan!!!

Earth Elements Card Swap

My first card made from products in the new Summer Mini 2010, available May 1st. Love the bright colors in the new Island Oasis Designer Series Paper #117173. ALWAYS love to play with new stamp sets. Here I used the corresponding set Tropical Party #118515 (Wood) or #120081 (Clear) and Framed with Love #114389.   Also used were cardstock/ink colors Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Rose Red and Old Olive.
